1. Fleas

2. Ticks

Tick is another parasite found on the skin and coat. The paralysis tick is the most dangerous and without a veterinary administered Tick Antiserum, may cause full body paralysis, pneumonia, pulmonary edema, heart failure and eventually death. we recommend checking with your local vet clinic to find out whether ticks pose a risk in your area.

3. Intestinal Worms

Intestinal Worms are also most common parasites in cats. Oftentimes, they get worms when they encounter with eggs or contaminated particles. For example, they would step on to infected feces and ingest them when they groom themselves. Or they could get infected by eating infected rats or fleas.

4. Tapeworm

These parasites live in the small intestine of a cat and can grow up to 25 inches long. Tapeworms lose pieces of themselves as they get older. These pieces are similar in size to a rice grain and pass through the cat’s feces.
